I was very excited to talk with Victor at length about the challenges unique to student athletes in the wild, wild west of Name, Image, and Likeness.
With the granting of the rights to earn money from their NIL assets, student athletes are entering a time of both great opportunity and great peril. (Isn’t that always the case!)
Unfortunately, they are largely navigating without much guidance. Agents are signing them exclusively for NIL deals and then leaving them in the dust. Essentially locking them out the game.
